Author’s Bio: Mel Rogers is a former journalist with a master’s degree in Media Management. After a 30-year career running and growing PBS stations, he retired as CEO of PBS SoCal/KOCE having built it into the primary PBS station in the Los Angeles market. Mel served six years as a member of the national PBS Board of Directors. Recently, prior to Covid 19, he was teaching Nonprofit Management courses to MBA students at the University of California in Irvine. Mel can be reached at (714) 345-3606 & Newportmel@msn.com.
