My sassy, foul-mouthed teenage son who sings like an angel is the center of my world right now. Semi-retired, I have two great-grandchildren in Phoenix that I plan to visit often. I'm the grandma that buys the books and am thrilled to be re-visiting the remarkable world of children's story books. I like to follow the creeks or the path on the edge of town that borders the meadow. I collect rocks from the rushing streams and the Feather River where my son and his friends harvest crawdads for dinner sometimes. I steal rocks from neighbors' gardens sometimes. I confess. I steal rocks. Zumba is my regular aerobic workout and my therapy. I write and pursue story. When I need a break I walk the two blocks to Main Street and peruse the thrift stores, or catch a movie at the Town Hall Theatre.
