I have a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College with a concentration in Fiction Writing and an MSW from Hunter College School of Social Work. I’ve published two (well-received by readers) novels, Unspoken and Mercy, both with the small, but mighty independent Mt. Nittany Press. Diane Donovan, Sr. Reviewer at Midwest Book Review writes, “Unspoken is an outstanding story that lingers in the mind long after its reading.” Unspoken was included in Mackenzie Dawson’s “Must Read” column in the NY Post. As a therapist, I have a background in treating survivors of sexual assault and have worked with children, teens, and families. My education and social work have given me a unique vantage point from which to create Pinned. My love of reading began in the Children’s Room at the Brooklyn Public Library. Walking along the Hudson River is where my characters come to life and boss me around until I tell their stories.
