Writing has always brought joy to my life from the time I was young. I first began playing with words by creating all sorts of lists just for fun. Eventually I moved from silly poems/lists to writing short stories full of characters I both loved and hated. As time went on, my stories grew longer, and I completed my first novella after high school graduation. I earned a bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis on Creative Writing from Florida State University and a master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. After that, I worked as an elementary school teacher. I especially enjoyed teaching creative writing and literature to my students. I have continued writing throughout the many changing stages of my adult life. I've somehow always made the time to write down the ideas that simply will not let me rest until I do, no matter how busy my schedule has been. I have written four novels over the years and would love to see them in the published form so I could focus more on a career path in writing going forward.
