Beyond the scope of writing, I'm a painter and musician, a ferret enthusiast, and a Blue Jays optimist. I'm obsessed with off-the-beaten-path travel and exploring places where mythology and archaeo-astronomy fall into alignment. I read widely—literary and historical fiction, magical realism, romcoms, biography, poetry, high or low SFF, academic quantum mechanics and string theory texts, and everything in between.

A published songwriter based in Toronto, I also work as an advertising copywriter in major-market radio, and was the Director of Brand Marketing at a record label for nearly a decade. THE INFINITE MATTER OF KAT WATBURN is my debut novel, written under the pen name T.E. Bean.
