Having been a visual artist and educator for a satisfying career, I have turned to writing to exorcise ghosts and legends which haunt my family's history. Having loved reading and having written grant applications and arts curricula, I now find the written word to be the supreme art for the expression of human experience. I find it excruciatingly difficult as well.
