I grew up in a little baroque city in the south part of Italy, Lecce. Raised by the sea, I watched the white-tipped crests of the waves playing touch and run with the shore, all from my childhood room's window. The fishers recollected their nets while the tiny boats cuddled them in sync with the gentle turmoil of water. My nonna laboriously moved around the stove, and the captivating scents that left the kitchen crept into my room. Those are my most fonded memories. So it is not a surprise that I developed an interest in good food and good wine since my teenage years. I left Italy more than ten years ago, turning my passion in my career, working in restaurants and bars worldwide.
But life brings us turning points, developing new plots, and my turning point was writing. I discovered that who writes live twice.
As Benjamin Franklin Said: "Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing." I live by this creed, and I enjoy this life journey, like a wanderer, an explorer. I am currently studying to become a writer, but I am first and foremost a partner, a father, a man who looks to discover the beautiful secret of this fulfilling adventure called life.
