I am still here. Writing and tearing apart DDDL. I am my own biggest critic. Just started beat sheet #19 with another new spin on the story. As much as I beat myself up over the constant changes and wonder if I'm overdoing it, every time I look back at what I had I'm sure it wasn't good enough. So the reworking continues...

Today, I cut three early chapters out of MERRIN BORN in preparation for structural rewrites. Then, I removed an additional 2,000 words because it was the right thing to do. #Nopainnopublish

I'm stunned! Just checked the Amazon Best Sellers list for the very first time, and discovered that IN SEPTEMBER is ranked in the Top 100 free Kindle ebooks under Contemporary Fiction.

Avocados are on my mind. Buttery Haas from the grower up the road.
